Many Filipino freelancers and aspiring freelancers struggle in finding direction when getting started because they are trying to be everything to everyone.
“Throw enough mud at the wall, some of it will stick”. If you make enough attempts or guesses, some of them will be correct or useful. This goes the same to freelancing or building a business, we try out a lot of things and services until something works really well. And this is normal because in order for you to know what you want and where you are good at, you have to try. And most creative entrepreneurs learn by doing it. It’s still a hands-on experience.
But it’s hard when you’re just getting started and its important that you have that idea or goal that you need to focus on one thing instead of being a jack-of-all-trades.
We’ll give you 5 steps in finding direction as a filipino freelancer from generalist to specialist in this episode.
